ONSHORE CORROSION SECTION SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

Organize and implement NDT inspection programs in order to ascertain manufacturing defects and residual thickness of piping and plants equipment.

 

Carry out on his own and with a minimum of input from his supervisor the following duties:

-         organize and implement complex inspection programs

-         perform periodical NDT surveys of piping and vessels using penetrant liquids, magnetic particles, ultrasonic and gamma rays techniques.

-         Interpret corrosion data from NDT results and define the necessary preventative actions for repair or replacement works

-         Issue the relevant complete reports with all supporting technical drawings. Prepare complete equipment failure cases reports with pictorial documentation. Organize and maintain files for performed activities

-         Select specialist services for the systems and suitable materials to be adopted. Supervise service companies activities.

-         Examine paints and coating specifications and select the most suitable system for application. Define the degree of surface preparation.

-         Carry out inspections during paints and coating application.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

PROFILE

T ensure that all works concerning his specialized discipline are established, coordinated and executed in agreement with the company’s standards of plant reliability, production continuity and certification requirement.

 

Carry out on his own with minimum input and supervision form the Maintenance Coordinator the following:

-         All necessary studies and interviews to identify the maintenance works required to meet the plant reliability standards as per prescribed and required by the certifying authority.

-         All the necessary action to translate such requirements into effective maintenance works

-         All the action required for an accurate collection of data related to the completed works

-         All required action to keep under close monitoring the correct flow of information and documents related to the maintenance works

-         Expertise on the maintenance of all equipment that are related to his discipline, mechanical, electrical, instrument and marine

-         Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings

-         Ability to read and interpret process flow diagram, electronic flow diagrams, mechanical flow diagrams, and electric flow diagrams

-         Ability to make analysis and assessment of discipline problems based minimum information.

-         Any possible action to promote the good management of any equipment assigned to Maintenance Engineering office.

-         Keep records of all pertinent documents for information and reference

 

Carry out according to instruction from his supervisor:

 

-         All actions required establishing basic programs for major projects by inputs of Maintenance Engineering co-coordinator;

-         Any required updating of system related to his activity

-         Any particular studies, reports, programs etc as it may be required by special events

-         Studies regarding the optimization of the Company’s maintenance resources utilization

-         Any required action to contribute in the promotion of the maintenance annual budget, and its subsequent monitoring and revisions

-         Improves knowledge of any technical details regarding his job among the maintenance and production staffs.

-         Use the following tools and general equipment and computer application knowledge, including extensive knowledge of use of maintenance and material management system software. Basic knowledge of computer programming is an advantage.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Should posses a High Diploma in the filed of his discipline

 

Not less than 10 years Maintenance experience (as either Senior Technician/Foreman/Supervisor or combination of the position) in the Oil and Gas Industry (onshore/offshore)

 

Theoretical Knowledge at high level related to his specialized filed

Be acquainted with the international regulations and standards.

 

Should be well acquainted with the operational methods and details related to the daily activities of a Maintenance Engineering office that handles all the Work Orders delivered on integrated maintenance units.

 

Knowledge of the materials, equipment and work methods used in the oil industry.

 

Should provide the re-procurement of any items by issuing ROMS, MAT 6 etc as the individual cases demand.

 

Should be well acquainted with the revision and optimization of PMP instructions by improving all areas of concern such as – job analysis, estimated hours, frequency, spare parts required.

 

Technical English at a fluent level (spoken and written).

WORKING TIME

He is responsible for keeping a safe engineering watch over plant machinery

 

Machinery operator being subordinate to the Senior Plant Technician, he performs ordinary, routine and preventative mechanical maintenance.

PROFILE

Certificated Marine Engineer with experience as a First Assistant Engineer on automated and computerized VLCC’s

 

He should have attended courses on Engine Automation, C.O.W. and Inert Gas System and on the computerized system from this specific F.S.U.

 

He should have attended during the last 12 months training courses on Firefighting and Survival at Sea.

 

He should have good knowledge of the English language.

PLANT & UTILITY MAINT & UNIT SPV

TASK AND DUTIES:

He is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all machinery (steam, generators and exchangers, power generators, motor and turbo pumps, inert gas system, auxiliary and emergency machinery)

 

He is responsible for all the matters on connection with spare parts, stores, bunkers and lubricating oils and greases.

 

He is responsible for procurement and technical evaluation of required materials and spares.

PROFILE

Certified Chief Engineer with several years experience as Chief Engineer on automated and computerized VLCC’s equipped with Inert Gas and C.O.W. systems.

He should have excellent knowledge of the English Language

 

He should have attended on Firefighting and Survival at Sea during the last 12 months

WORKING TIME

One Cargo Control Room specialist per each 12 hour shift

TASK AND DUTIES:

Under direct supervision of the Cargo Operation Unit Supervisor performs all required operations related to cargo and ballast handling

 

He operates any cargo valves on deck, pump room or wherever it should be necessary.

 

He performs routine, ordinary, preventative and extraordinary maintenance to the oil cargo or ballast equipment

 

He operates remote temperature and level gauging equipment

 

Assists with fiscalisation and sampling of oil cargoes.

PROFILE

Pumpman with several years of experience in this position on VLCC’s equipped with automatic C.O.W. and Inert Gas systems

 

He should have extensive mechanical experience, particularly regarding the maintenance and repair of valves, valve operating systems and other tanker related equipment.

 

He should have attended courses on C.O.W., Inert Gas, Firefighting and survival at Sea.

 

He should have good knowledge of the English Language

 

He should be fully conversant with the correct use of portable radio communications.

PLANT INSPECTOR

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Diploma combined with course qualifying as a skilled drawer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Knowledge of plant process principles. Ability to read mechanical, instrumental and electrical drawings, manual and flowchart.

 

To ensure all necessary plant inspection activities are established, coordinated and executed in agreement with the Company standards of plant reliability, production continuity and official certification requirements.

 

To carry out all necessary investigation to identify, for all the plant installation, particular inspection type and programs required to meet the relevant equipment specification (ultrasonic testing, magnetic particles inspections, radiographic techniques, penetrant liquid selection of welding electrodes, thermal treatment of welds, hydro testing, vibration analysis of rotating machines etc)

 

To carry out all necessary actions to set up an efficient filing system including inspection cards, reports, sketches etc as required to ensure proper data recording and transmission in coordination with maintenance analyst, maintenance planner and production.

 

To carry out studies on materials and plant behavior and service life in order to execute the necessary actions to improve efficiency and reliability.

 

JOB TITLE

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ANALYSIS SPEC.

PROFILE

Managing the maintenance database into the Maintenance Management System. Establish requirements for Preventative, Predictive, Diagnostic and on Condition Maintenance  of all Mechanical equipment (Compressors, Pumps, Industrial Motors and Turbines)

 

Select equipment to be submitted to Preventative Maintenance, in conjunction with Production requirements and define for each:

-         PM intervals/frequency

-         Maintenance instructions (work texts)

-         Specialization requirements (in terms of technical Capability)

-         Estimated works duration

-         Material requirements (spare parts and consumables)

-         Special tools

-         Technical documentation

-         Work permits required

 

Monitor the performance of PM procedures in conjunction with Maintenance Planner and make recommendations for changes to the Maintenance Database to optimize maintenance activities.

 

Prepare and submit technical reports ie availabili9ty, reliability, maintainability studies) and statistical studies, in order to improve the maintenance process and plat design

 

Provide expert support in the training of new employees.

 

Perform periodical check of stock parameters relevant to the items inserted in MMMS, defining variation of “reorder Level” in relation to historical monthly consumption and/or estimated preventative maintenance planning.

 

Perform Technical Evaluation concerning the manufacturer or suppliers offers, relevant to Manual and Specific on type R.O.M.

 

Manage, issue and optimize the Preventative Maintenance Program using the Maintenance Management System

 

Analyze technical feed-back, coming from operative personnel, in order to build an appropriate historical maintenance database.

JOB TITLE

CARGO CONTROL ROOM SUPERVISOR

PROFILE

Ocean going vessel licensed captain with several years experience at least as a chief officer on VLCC equipped with computerized automatic control systems for the management of hydrocarbon cargoes

 

Supervises and is responsible for all operations related to reception, distribution in the tank and handling of the oil cargo and water ballast.

 

Operates generally but not restricted from the control room, as for programs and instructions received and at least of his own professional skills. Avail himself of the services of pump men and helpers.
